Projects and how to use them

What is a ‘Project’?

The ‘Projects’ section of TalentMapper is designed to help organisations showcase all their projects in one place. It can be used to highlight initiatives such as employee networks, secondments, and strategic projects.

Employees can discover & register their interest in projects that match their skills and goals. At the same time, employers can effortlessly search for existing talent for their initiatives, inviting them to apply and contribute their expertise.

Where can I find ‘Projects’?

When logged in to your account access the "Your Career" section in the main task bar at the top of the platform. Then, go to the "Projects" tab to view and manage your projects.

You have the option to filter your view of your projects. You can select 'Your Projects' to display projects for which you are the owner. Alternatively, select 'Open Projects' to view all live projects within your organisation, or 'Drafts' to view your unpublished projects.

Who can create a project?

Typically anyone with line manager and HR admin permissions in TalentMapper can create a project. However, this can vary depending on your company's specific permission settings.
