What are ‘Skills’?

Everything in Talent Mapper is powered by skills. Roles, jobs, and projects all require people with specific skillsets, and the skills that you have, and want to learn, will influence your career recommendations. You will always be able to see which skills you need to develop to further your career at Talent Mapper.

Where can I find a list of my skills within the platform? 

To view and manage your skills in TalentMapper, go to 'My Profile' and scroll down to the 'Your Skills' and 'Add Skills' areas to view and make changes.

How do I add or remove skills?

To add a skill you currently have, Click or tap once on the relevant skill tag, if you have a skill or set of skills you would like to learn, click or tap twice to add this to your learn list. 

Some skills will have been automatically parsed from your CV uploaded to your profile. Please review these and click twice on any skills you wish to remove.

What does the skill's colours mean?

Blue - Skills you have

Green - Skill you want to learn  

Purple - Skills we think you have
